  1. Please give us some background information about VADA Empire?

VADA is a fashion and lifestyle brand designed and owned by us (The Sivada Sisters) we created the label as a platform to inspire woman, after our visit to Europe we felt that South Africa lacked a fashion label that truly made a huge impact in the industry, we took a risk and made it into a huge success! We are definitely blessed.

  1. What do you consider the most important facets of the fashion industry?

To stay current and always in the media, you can easily fade into the background, new labels launch every day, you have to always be on trend, be the brand that everyone is talking about it is important to be interesting, being boring does not sell well.

3.What do you think are the current and future trends in fashion?                                                                                                                                                                                                       To us VADA is the trend 😉                                                                                                                                                            4.Challenges you’ve faced from the birth of VADA Empire?                                                                                                                                                                                                                   We started completely lost, we did not study fashion or business so we had to really educate ourselves through trial and error, finding the right production company and fabric sourcing was definitely a challenge, also getting a start-up label to be featured in the media is always tricky we got rejected at first now we receive personal calls from the media to feature us, I guess we quite interesting.                                                                                                                                                                                   5.What inspires VADA collections?                                                                                                                                               Definitely powerful females!
